Over the past 6 months, CALC has been working to focus in on our capacity and the ways in which we can continue to be a force for good within Lane County. As a part of this process, the CALC Board of Directors approved the hiring of two Co-Directors! We are please to introduce them below!
Co-Director of Programs: Mariko Plescia
You might recognize Mariko’s name, as she was most recently CALC’s Director of Development! Mariko’s dedication and passion to CALC’s work and supporting the staff made her the perfect person to fill this new role. In this role she will support the CALC programming staff, build relationships with other non-profits and organizations, and continue to be central to CALC’s grant writing!
Co-Director of Administration: Teresa Gutierrez
Teresa joined CALC in June 2025 as a part of the co-director team to lead CALC through its refocusing and transition. Teresa’s career in HR, equity, and development of administrative processes have been key to the ways in which CALC will support its staff, provide transparency to the community, and support the hiring and retention of CALC staff.
